Bug Linking

Agilebuddy hasn’t had an explicit way to file a bug against a particular user story. Until now.

Now, when creating a bug, you can choose a user story to link it to. You can also choose the new Link Bug action on a user story row in the backlog as a convenience.

Once a bug is linked to a user story, it is displayed on its details page and optionally, underneath it in the backlog. Don’t forget to turn it on:

The linked bug also takes part in the workflow of the user story. So, for example, if a story has been accepted but a bug is linked to it, the story is reopened (as long as it’s in a current iteration). Likewise, once the bug is closed, the user story is as well.
